Psalms 10:5-11

5 His ways ^{▼▼ Lit are strong
,} ^bprosper at all times;
Your judgments are on high, ^cout of his sight;
As for all his adversaries, he snorts at them.
6 He says to himself, ^d“I will not be moved;
^{▼▼ Lit To}Throughout all generations ^fI will not be in adversity.”
7 His ^gmouth is full of curses and deceit and ^hoppression;
ⁱUnder his tongue is mischief and wickedness.
8 He sits in the ^jlurking places of the villages;
In the hiding places he ^kkills the innocent;
His eyes ^{▼▼ Lit lie in wait}stealthily watch for the ^{▼▼ Or poor
,} ⁿunfortunate.
9 He lurks in a hiding place as ^oa lion in his ^{▼▼ Or thicket}lair;
He ^qlurks to catch ^rthe afflicted;
He catches the afflicted when he draws him into his ^snet.
10 He ^{▼▼ Or is crushed}crouches, he ^{▼▼ Or is bowed down}bows down,
And the ^{▼▼ Or poor}unfortunate fall ^{▼▼ Or into his claws}by his mighty ones.
11 He ^xsays to himself, “God has forgotten;
He has hidden His face; He will never see it.”
